A national tradition which symbolizes complete, compassionate, and patient-centered care which the nursing profession has become synonymous for. Often times, the nurse is the frontline healthcare worker which patients interact with the most.

September 11, 2001 is a date that is burnt into the fabric of American society due to the thousands of lives that were senselessly lost in a terrorist attack on American civilians. In the years following, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students began an annual tradition of honoring the lives lost through a Remembrance Ceremony in honor of Patriot Day.

The 2023 Convocation Ceremony was held the afternoon of August 29. The Class of 2027 and attendees of this year's ceremony were greeted with a special message from President Mark C. Anarumo, Provost and Dean of Faculty Karen Gaines, and Commandant William F. McCollough.

The annual New Student Oath Ceremony for the incoming class of civilians and rooks was held on Sunday, August 27.

President Anarumo and members of his staff joined the Corps of Cadets on Sunday morning in this annual right of passage which marks the end of Rook Orientation Week. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's office of communications has curated this collection of select images from the event.

The historic Barre Municipal Auditorium has long been a community hub in the city of Barre. Designed by Ruth Freeman, the first female architect in the state of Vermont, it opened its doors in 1939. It has played a variety of roles since then, hosting trade and farm shows, town fairs, concerts, municipal voting polls and state basketball championships. Lately, though, it has been somewhat of a second classroom for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ architecture, engineering, and construction management students.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ announced today that it will host its second annual Amazon Web Services (AWS) Business Case Competition. The event, which is presented by the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Business, will take place on March 30, 2023, where teams of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students will compete and present their work to a panel of judges featuring representatives from AWS

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is replete with distinguished alumni, Cadets of valor who have achieved significant accomplishments, and Harold 'Doc' Martin stands squarely with all of them.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ was awarded a two-year $5M grant from the National Center of Academic Excellence – Cybersecurity (NCAE-C), housed in the National Security Agency.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ will receive $4 million in federal funding to create an artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and quantum computing academic and experiential learning center.
