黑料不打烊鈥檚 student radio station, WNUB 88.3 FM鈥擠og River Radio鈥攃elebrated 50 years on the air in December 2017. Established in 1967, WNUB-FM provides a training ground for Communications students interested in pursuing careers in radio broadcasting and audio production.

Operating 24 hours per day, seven days per week with 270 watts of power transmitted from a tower atop Jackman Hall, WNUB-FM serves the campus and greater Northfield communities year-round as a noncommercial, educational FM station, licensed by the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. Simian, a computer-based automation program, makes possible the continuous broadcast of music, news, information and other programming during times not convenient for student participation.

BirdNote 鈥 Stories about birds, the environment and more. Airs at 6:30 am and 12:30 pm Monday-Friday and 8:00 am, 12 noon, and 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Sound Beat 鈥 Classic audio recordings: music and the spoken word. Airs at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm Monday-Friday.
The Academic Minute 鈥 Latest research findings from colleges and universities around the world presented by their professors. Airs at 9:30 am and 3:30 pm Monday-Friday.  

Earth Wise -- From green business and new environmental legislation to how nature impacts our environment in ways never before considered, Earth Wise offers a look at our changing environment Airs at 10:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. 

Climate Connections -- Covers the ways climate change is impacting our lives, and what diverse people and organizations are doing to reduce the associated risks. Airs at 11:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. 

National Native News -- Provides listeners with relevant, timely coverage of Native American and Indigenous communities. Airs at 7:55 am and 5:55 pm Monday-Friday.

The Children鈥檚 Hour -- The Children鈥檚 Hour Inc is a New Mexico based non-profit dedicated to producing high quality Kids Public Radio.  Their educational themes focus on STEM, civics, culture, history, art, and performance.  Airs Saturday at 8 am and Sunday at 11 am.

Possibly -- A fun, engaging look at the science behind environmental solutions that helps listeners cut through the noise and possibly, make a difference. Airs Monday-Friday at 7:30 am and 1:30 pm.

Weather Forecasts 鈥 Meteorologist Steve Hamilton provides customized forecasts for the Greater Northfield area, heard hourly 24/7/365.

The Mainstream 鈥 Host Brett Maybee plays your known favorites plus the best offerings from contemporary Indigenous musicians! Adult Album Alternative (AAA) format. Heard Monday-Friday 9 am-12 noon, Saturday 12 noon-6 pm, and Sunday 12 noon-6 pm.

Live 鈥榥鈥 Kickin鈥 -- This show features three musical guest stars from all over America and beyond each week, including genres: rock, country, jazz, folk, hip hop, variety, college, senior, Native American, and many more.  Heard Friday at 6 pm, Saturday at 8 pm, and Sunday at 11 pm.

Beale Street Caravan -- For more than 20 years,  has been capturing and exporting the sounds of Memphis and the Delta region.  Beale Street Caravan, the most widely distributed blues radio program in the world, is produced in the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock & roll, covering the world with The Sounds of Memphis.  Heard Friday at 9 pm, Saturday at 7 pm, and Sunday at 8 pm.

Caf茅 Chill -- Public Radio's human curated chill mix, produced by in Seattle, WA, hosted by Seth, involved in the Pacific Northwest electronic music scene for years.  Heard Friday at 10 pm, Saturday at 11 pm, and Sunday at 9 pm.

Dead Air -- Psychedelic radio snapshots of music鈥檚 longest and strangest trip!  Host Cory Daniels shares quality selections from official Grateful Dead releases: legendary live concerts, fine studio releases, rare highlights, & current releases from the vault.  Plus, news about surviving members of the band, celebrations of historical milestones, and some insightful interviews. Heard Friday at 11 pm, Saturday at 6 pm, and Sunday at 10 pm.

Sunday Morning Jazz with David Basse -- Explores jazz鈥檚 wide range of forms and influences. You鈥檒l hear everything from roots music and rare classic cuts to blues, Latin and the latest releases. Drawing on his lifelong experience as a jazz musician and recording artist, David punctuates his handpicked tracks with insights, anecdotes and interview snippets that bring to life the quintessential American musical genre.  Heard Sunday 7-11 am.

Live At The Bop Stop -- Features a full set of jazz music that was recorded live on the BOP STOP stage by a local, regional, or national act at The Music Settlement in Cleveland, Ohio. Heard Sunday 6-8 pm.

Timeless Oldies 鈥 Northfield鈥檚 own Dex Rowe brings you a wide variety of classic oldies from the 1950s-1980s.  Heard Friday 7-9 pm and Saturday 9-11 pm.
